1. Our Commitment
Oku Digital Health, Inc. ("Oku," "we," "us") is committed to making www.okuglobal.com (the "Website") accessible to people with disabilities and to improving the experience for every visitor. We treat accessibility as an ongoing effort, not a one-time project.
This statement applies to the Website only.
2. The Standard We Follow
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, hearing, physical, speech, cognitive and neurological disabilities. We also test against the additional success criteria in WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
Conformance status: the Website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the standard. Those parts are listed in Section 4.
3. What We Do to Support Accessibility
Measures we take include:
- Considering accessibility in the design and build of the Website, including color contrast, text size, headings, page structure and link text.
- Testing key pages with automated accessibility tools.
- Testing by hand: using the Website with a keyboard only, checking that keyboard focus is always visible, checking pages at small screen widths and when zoomed, checking forms and their error and confirmation messages, and checking behavior when a device is set to reduce motion.
- Testing with a screen reader (VoiceOver on macOS).
- Fixing the issues we find and retesting them.
- Reviewing accessibility when we add or change content.
4. Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the Website may not yet be fully accessible. These are the limitations we know about as of 28 September 2026:
- Contact form on the Home page. The "Healthcare Provider" and "Pharma Partner" options may not be read out correctly by screen readers, and keyboard focus on them may not be visible. We are fixing this. In the meantime, you can use the form on the Contact page or email us.
- Interactive diagram on the Home page. The diagram in the "Data flows in, Innovation flows out" section can only be explored with a mouse or by touch. Its eight plus markers cannot yet be opened with a keyboard or a screen reader. The same eight areas, with links, are described on the Solutions pages for healthcare providers and for pharma. We plan to make the diagram work with a keyboard and screen readers.
- Third-party features. Some features are provided by other companies, including the cookie consent banner and preferences panel. We choose providers that support accessibility and report problems to them, but we do not fully control their content.
- External websites and documents. Research studies, news items and event registration link to websites and documents run by publishers and other organizations. These are outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
5. Compatibility
The Website is designed to work with:
- Recent versions of major web browsers, including Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, on desktop and mobile devices.
- Keyboard-only navigation.
- Screen readers, such as VoiceOver on macOS and iOS.
- Browser zoom up to 200 percent.
The Website may not work as well in older browsers. It relies on HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WAI-ARIA to work with the combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your device.
6. How We Assessed the Website
Oku assessed the accessibility of this Website by self-evaluation, together with its website development partner, using automated tools and manual testing. The most recent assessment was completed on 28 September 2026.
